a cha burah i once was part of
many years ago i was part of a baaleh teshuva movement .i lost contact withthe majority of the chevrah but my goal is to reconnect whichis part of the reason i joined this forum
1980 was probably its peak for me it was when bob dylan's saved album came out ..i must say i was surrounded by angels all in the vicinity i grew up in ...flatbush/boro park.icons like dovid and bracha din simcha miller..mordechai samaton mordechai goldberg shaul and penina yaakov birenbaum yehuda fine rabbi fund and of course rav shlomo there were others...each a shining light onto themselves each with a story to tell and each one leaving a mark on my soul ..many went their own separate ways but i am sure we r still a puzzle to be put together
it has come my time to put the pieces back to a full picture .so any info to help me recall who i knew during this period and their where abouts would bring it all home for me ...i tracked down few but have forgotton many i need your help to remember i prefer not to leave any stone unturned.i entered this scenerio in 1978-1982 but it began beforethat and continued after i made aliyah
im not interested in previous lives of how i may be connected to these special souls but only in this life
few landmarks come to mind 43rd street boro park 47th street between 9th and tenth ..yeshiva chaim berlin brooklyn college hillel campus purim at simcha miller the village mea shaarim a yartziet at har menuchot .. and shoshana's pizza place at modiim
