finally yerushalayim ir hakodesh had a shabos of real shabos instead of a shabos of protests and violence. the police got bored because they had nothing to do all shabos except wait outside in the heat wearing their full riot gear expecting the violent protests that they are used to happening every day from the haredi civil rights movement to happen on shabos also. maybe the police will realize that on shabos they dont have to be nazi gestapo pigs and that on shabos they can be kosher and not go to work and rest on shabos as g-d commands all jews to rest on shabos.
in order for this to happen, we have to do everything possible to avoid the sin of causing another jew to work on shabos. when a jew does something that causes another jew to break shabos it is as if he himself had broken shabos.
holy yidelach involved in the haredi civilrights movement you must limit all activities of the haredi civil rights movement to 6 days a week. go to your rebbe's shalosh seudos and listen to your rebbe's shalosh seudos torah instead of rushing to end shabos. keep shabos for as long as possible and dont start any protest demonstrations until about 2 hours after shabos ends so that policemen living in tel aviv wont have to leave for work until after shabos is over. friday afternoon finish all protest demonstrations at least 2 hours before shabos starts so that policemen who live in tel aviv will have time to drive home and arrive at their homes before shabos starts. we have to realize that we are responsible for any work that the police do on shabos because of our protest demonstarations and that it is our responsibility to get the jewish policemen to become shomer shabos.
this also means no throwing of rocks, stones or water bottles at people who are not yet shomer shabos.
we can win over a lot more jewish souls with love and hugs than we can with sticks and stones.
love your fellow jew dont hate him.
make the haredi civil rights movement a 5 and three quarter day a week movement instead of a 7 day a week movement.
